Pelarivo Privacy Policy
How Pelarivo collects, uses, stores and protects account, Google sign-in, uploaded-file and optional analytics data.
Effective: 2 September 2026
Who operates Pelarivo?
Pelarivo is currently operated as an independent public-beta product. No company status is claimed on this page. You can reach the operator through the Contact page.
Account and Google sign-in data
When you continue with Google, Pelarivo requests only the openid, email and profile scopes. It receives your Google account identifier, verified email address and display name to create or link your Pelarivo account, authenticate you and show your profile. Pelarivo does not request Google Drive, Gmail, contacts or calendar access.
Other data we store
Pelarivo stores profile language, plan and subscription state, sign-in timestamps, hashed session tokens, saved workspace metadata, routines, SQL structure models and analyses you choose to save. Passwords, when email registration is enabled, are stored only as salted scrypt hashes.
Files, results and retention
Uploaded source files stay owner-scoped and are normally scheduled to expire after 24 hours. Temporary report and analysis contexts have bounded expiry. Saved workspace records remain available to the account until their product retention rule applies or deletion is requested. Original source files are not modified.
Optional product analytics
With your consent, Pelarivo uses PostHog EU Cloud to measure page and feature use, workflow outcomes and non-sensitive failure categories. Analytics does not receive file names, cell values, SQL text, schema or column names, business results, secrets or authentication tokens. You may refuse analytics in the consent prompt.
How data is used and shared
Data is used to provide accounts, preserve authorized work, secure the service, support users and improve Pelarivo. Google identity data is not sold, used for advertising or transferred except to operate user-facing authentication, comply with law or protect the service. Service providers process only the data needed for hosting, sign-in and consented analytics.
Your choices and requests
You may sign out at any time, refuse optional analytics and request access, correction or deletion through the Contact page. Revoking Google access stops future authorization but does not by itself delete an existing Pelarivo account; request deletion separately.
Security, international processing and changes
Pelarivo uses HTTPS, scoped authorization, owner isolation and hashed session credentials. No internet service can promise absolute security. Hosting and service providers may process data in the European Economic Area or other locations under their applicable safeguards. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
